Founded by Colleen O’Neil Phillips, a DC native with over 15 years of experience in the wedding industry. I’m Colleen O’Neil Phillips, Founder of O’Neil Events, DC native, former Division I lacrosse player, and firm believer that dessert belongs at every meal.
I started this company because I love what a well-planned wedding can do for a couple and their family. I live for the moments when a couple walks into their reception, and everything is exactly right. When parents can relax and just be guests. When the day moves so smoothly that nobody notices the work behind it.
That’s what I’ve spent 15+ years building toward. And it’s what my team and I show up to deliver at every single wedding we take on.
I’m a DC native with deep roots in this community, which means I know the venues, I know the vendors, and I know how to get things done here. From Columbia Country Club to the historic ballrooms of downtown DC to the skyline terraces of New York City, I’ve worked in spaces that demand precision.
When I’m not behind a timeline, you’ll find me with a Diet Coke in one hand and my toddler in the other.
