Do I Need a Wedding Planner in Washington DC or NYC?

Short answer: Probably, yes. Unless you love spending nights comparing 20 florists on Instagram and weekends decoding vendor contracts, hiring a wedding planner in Washington, DC is one of the best investments you can make. When clients hire us, they actually get to enjoy their engagement instead of treating it like a second job.

What’s the Difference Between a Wedding Planner and a Wedding Coordinator?

This one trips up almost every couple. A venue coordinator works for the venue. They care about catering timing, lighting, and the building itself.

How Far in Advance Should We Book a Planner?

When planning a wedding in DC or NYC, 9–12 months is ideal. For full planning, the earlier the better if you wish to have support from the beginning. For Month-Of Wedding Coordination, at least 6 weeks is ideal, but this doesn’t mean last-minute if you wish to have a set of professional eyes on everything before your wedding day.

How Many Weddings Do You Take On Each Year?

While we don’t have a set number each year, we base our bookings on our capacity. We cap our numbers so every couple gets the attention they deserve. Not booking beyond our capacity allows us to ensure we are able to handle the “what ifs.”

Translation: If you want us for a prime DC or NYC date, don’t wait.
