With an estimated population of eight million people, one would expect NYC weddings to be anything but small. The truth is, small weddings are becoming increasingly popular. Couples have been showing more preferences for saying “I do”, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

The great thing is that small and intimate doesn’t have to mean less. You can host your wedding at one of the small wedding venues NYC offers, and still have a memorable experience surrounded by beautiful architecture.

Here are seven small wedding venues NYC couples are currently raving about, and that we love. These wedding venues are ideal for couples with a guest list of 150 or fewer.

1. The Dumbo Loft

INCREDIBLE! Colleen was a dream to work with. Starting with our prep phone calls 6 weeks out, Colleen kept everything on track so I could actually enjoy the wedding planning process. She has a vast knowledge of experience, an eye for detail, and is completely unflappable. When my caterer showed up with one bar set up instead of two, she rearranged the layout on the fly to make everything work. She is kind, positive, and a calming presence. I would not have been able to be so deeply present and enjoy my wedding so much without her. My wife and I agree this was the best money we spent. Hire her team! 🙂
