As a wedding planner, I love working at the Willard Hotel for its sophisticated atmosphere and versatile spaces. Whether it’s the grand ballroom for the reception or the intimate setting for a ceremony, this venue offers a stunning backdrop for any wedding. For Noemi and Mitch, it was the perfect setting for their fall wedding, complete with a beautiful outdoor cocktail hour and an elegant indoor reception.
A Perfect Fall Day in Washington, DC
Noemi and Mitch’s wedding day was everything they had dreamed of and more. The weather was perfect—a crisp fall day in DC. The rain held off until after the outdoor cocktail hour, allowing the couple to enjoy the beautiful gardens and take in the views. The day was filled with laughter, joy, and heartfelt moments with their closest family and friends. With a smaller guest list of about 80 people, this wedding felt incredibly intimate, allowing the couple to connect with each guest on a personal level.

The Couple and Their Wedding Party: Elegance and Simplicity
The couple’s wedding attire was a reflection of their classic style. Noemi’s bridesmaids selected their own blue dresses, adding a personalized touch that complemented the elegant ambiance of the wedding. Mitch and his groomsmen wore classic tuxedos, which fit perfectly with the overall refined aesthetic of the day. It was a timeless look that allowed the couple’s love to take center stage.

While Noemi was initially hesitant, one of the most memorable moments of the day came when they embraced the hora—an Israeli dance where the bride and groom are lifted in chairs. Despite a few nerves, the hora was executed beautifully, and the guests were all on the dance floor, enjoying every minute of the celebration. It’s moments like these that make weddings so unique—bringing family and friends together for shared joy and laughter.
One of the most intimate moments of the day was when Noemi and Mitch shared their private vows during their first look. This moment allowed them to connect on a deeply personal level before the ceremony, creating a meaningful memory that would last a lifetime. Their vows were heartfelt, personal, and a reflection of their deep love for one another.

Planning a Wedding from Out of Town
Noemi and Mitch were planning their wedding from out of town, which can add a level of complexity to the process. That’s where we came in. We also got to meet their adorable puppy during our Zoom calls, which made the planning process even more special.
