On Wednesdays We Wear Pink - Appetizers vs. hors d’oeuvre

I have enough cheese and crackers for 8 people...do you think that's enough?

There isn't much of a different between the two…however for those sticklers out there I’ll explain the difference.

Hors d’oeuvre are truly meant to be finger goods that are often passed around a cocktail reception.  Appetizers tend to be more of a first course and often a bit heavier. Appetizers are often served when guest are seated for dinner.
